Game Hosting Metrics ("the site") publishes statistics about which networks host public game servers. By using the site you agree to these terms.

What the data is

Server counts come from the public Steam server browser (Steam Web API) at the time of each snapshot.
Networks (ASNs) are derived from public BGP routing data via iptoasn.com. Mapping an IP address to a network is approximate, and a network name is not necessarily the company operating the game server.
Fake, duplicated or unreachable servers are counted if Steam lists them. Games with many bot-farm entries are flagged in red. Numbers are indicative, not audited.

You may use charts and figures from the site for any purpose. Attribution to gamehostingmetrics.com is appreciated but not required.
Do not scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others. The JSON API is provided as-is and may change without notice.

The site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of these statistics.

Steam and game names are trademarks of their respective owners. The site is not affiliated with Valve or any game studio or hosting provider.
